I have a favor to ask of you guys that have front strut braces. How thick is the tubing? And the how thick are the parts that bolts to the frame? chris 95 base building front& rear braces

It is typical for an old Mustang to flex a bit over the years, nothing but fighting it will get it back. I do recommend you run an export brace to limit this movement instead of the stock pieces, they are cheap too. One trick, although I never tried it, is to put the car on jack stands so the front end is hanging without support. Leave it overnight this way then install the braces, this supposedly will load the brace when you let the car down. Honestly, I dont think you can undo 30 yrs of flex overnight, but it cant hurt
