I wish I could remember! The important part to
keep in the back of your mind is that these components
stop your car...and to focus on the emergency stops.
Your risking the investment in you car, injury or
possibly your life if you short cut, use cheap parts or
don't get it set up right.

I'd buy new front
rotors. They won't be rusted, new bearing races, rotors
won't be warped and won't need to be turned.

The
brakets to mount the calipers weren't cheap. But then
again you don't want cheap ones either...a fractured
mount would be dangerous.

I've rebuilt numerious
calipers and purchased them rebuilt. The rears I'd
definately recommend rebuilt units. You don't want them to
leak and the emergency brake screw actuator was real
tricky to get reinstalled right. Leaks here ruin the
brake pads...I know! These ran, guessing, around $150
rebuilt each?

My fronts were new Wilwood,
somewhere around $200 for the pair.

I had to
research brake hoses too!

I believe, from reading
magazine conversions, that the kits are probably the best
value. All the parts are there, the parts are new, and
they all work together. My biggest worry during this
conversion was wondering if it would all work. Overall I
probably have $1000 in the conversion and LOTS of hours
and frustration!

Let me know if you need more.
