Hi, i've posted before beacuse i was having problems with my ranger, im only 17yrs old w/ a broke wallet and on top of that now my ranger has erupted w/ a possibly 700 dollar oil leak and today it started (from the front somewhere) making a clanking sound. i checked the center caps to see if they were lose and that wasnt' it. next im gonna bleed the brakes to see if their just not releasing right...if not, anyone got any ideas?

Is the clanking drive train related IE if you put it in neutral does it make the noise or not? If you ran the engine dry from that oil leak I would guess the clanking is coming from the block / head but need to know if it comes and goes with REVs... let us know and good luck - HB mastercom87
