Hey guys - I think I'm going to punch out of this site for good. I've received a lot of good info for the last year or so and I've also had the pleasure of sharing some. Unfortunately, the behavior of some participants lately is just really grating on the nerves and I've never been much on putting up with people's poor attitudes-or plainly put-B.S. Been fun! If you'd like to email me direct with questions or comments, I've owned two GLs ('91/97') and currently own a 97' GT. The address is above. Happy Probing! > >

I would call a tranny shop, it sounds bad. I dont know much about the internals af autos they should be able to get you a straight answer on the problem.

Sounds like you could have a shift interlock cable broken, if that's the problem you should be able to lift the little cap to the right of the shifter and move the shift lever while pressing a key in the interlock override.        John

This might be silly but my 94PSE had a keyhole next to the shifter that you could use to lock the shifter.  Have you tried sticking your key in there and playing with that?  Just a thought...I don't miss ATX at all. :)   MULTI 94GT
