Hello, have have been very interested in ordering a borla cat back system from autoparts.com but, they dont list a cat back system for my car. Now i was talking to my freind and he told me that the exasust system on my car was "longer" then the 93 years. Will a cat back system for a 93 SE fit on my 95 SE? also are there any difference in proformace? i heard that there maybe a loss in low end power, has anyone had any experiace with a SE and a new cat back system. Also, i do have a new intake (weapon-r) would the exasust make any differece? tim

I have the Borla on my 95 SE. It was short(the Borla) and I had to have a 3" long pipe welded in. The power gain was noticed instanly, and the sound is Great. I have had the system for 4 years and two cars, so I guess i got my money out of it. Hope this Helps, Steve

Any exhaust system for the PGT will fit the PSE. From behind the firewall these cars are identical for all practical purposes. Now there were differences in length near the cat on all Probes (GT's and SE"s) Some years were slightly longer than others and some slightly shorter (I believe is had to do with OBD-II stuff), but this is easily remedied by having a muffler shop weld in a extension or removing a section of straight pipe. The only comprimise you will make with a PGT exhaust is your low end torque. I recall a previous member who installed the Greddy cat back (the free-est flowing exhaust for the Probe) on his PSE and he claimed the lose was terrible on the low end (and this is one of the few things our cars have going for us, is the low end) and did not justify the high end gain, but then this is based on the old "butt-o-meter" which I never really trust anyone, even myself, especially when they start throwing HP numbers at you (he didn't throw numbers either). 8-) Bryan >

i bought the borla for my se a long time ago and its actually for the GT....but it isnt that hard to modify...see the cat is bigger on the gt so that means it screws the restof the exhaust routing up..so you have to take a peice out in one place and add a peice in another..im sorry i dont remeber where exactly(been too long)..anywayz you have to add a approx. 12" piece to the catback system...now as far as power goes i dont have results but it feels a little lighter when yo upush the pedal down...so the borla aint that bad for an SE..i would go 4 it..hope dat helps...if you wanna know nething else feel free to ask..
