I recently swapped out my old rotor and hub assembly. Now I am getting a loud metal on metal sound coming from my brakes. Also, the ABS system light came on. I cleaned the rotors with brake cleaner prior to install. Any ideas what this might be?

Also, the sound goes away if I shoot brake cleaner on the rotor and in the boot.

thanks.

Make sure the pads are not worn or that the wear indicators are not bent and touching the rotor. Also the rotor may need to be turned to have the glaze broken and you may have to sand the pads to break the glaze on them. Good luck.
