Just acquired a 99 CVPI, ex-California Highway Patrol w/104K miles. Wondering if anyone on the list knows of any Chicago-area junk yards that have a good supply of scrapped P71s. I'm looking to replace some parts, and figured that there's got to be a place around here where Chicago PD (and others) scrap their wrecks. A friend of mine also has a 99 and his has 6 (factory?) 12v power leads (3 "hot", 3 ignition-controlled, for radios, etc.) under the dash above the front passenger's foot well. I have not had the chance to look for them in my car yet, but I'm curious to know if anyone knows where to get the "bullet-style" male crimp connectors that match these taps. Thanks, and looking forward to reading and posting! Kevin Villa Park, IL
