Where can i find a cheap code grabber for a 96 Explorer..can someone give me a few company name brands and prices?....Thanks all

'96 and newer vehicles are OBDII, so they have a universal port. You can get any OBDII code scanner. I use an Actron cp9125, very simple unit, it just reads and clears codes, about $60 maybe. You can spend more and get more features. I have an extra one still in the package that I intend to put on eBay. C >

Hi, thanks for thre info, how much are you asking for the code grabber?I was told if you remove the negative batery cable and replace the sensor ( if you know which one it is)the check engine light will clear in about 10 min

I think if you just replace the bad sensor it will reset after about 100 miles. They retail for about $80 I think, I would like to get $45 for it, Shipping via FEDEX will be $8 Craig >
