I was wondering if you had lowered you mustang? Sometimes lowering it can cause the wheels to bow, causeing stress on the tie rods, suspension, wheels, tires, and sometimes cause you lug nuts to strip, making them fall off.

Actually I just changed my whole front suspension about 5K + milles ago. And yes my car was lowered, but not anymore. The reason behind the whole front re-do was cus I plan on selling the car and wanted the original "look"

So did they replace it. I know how it happened....I took our 5lb rubber mallet and beat the crap out of the wheel one night. Just kidding, that was weird how that just cracked like that, clean break and all. Let me know if discount is screwing you over, we may have to get estabon involved and no one wants that to happen.<br>50_boy

Well I already got my new rim from Discount Tire. Now I just need to have it re-powdercoated, put my new tire on there and go for a drive. Actually Discount manager was pretty cool, he was actully gonna give a rim with a tire, while I would wait for my rim, but that wasn't necesary. He sais it's just the powdercoat that cracked... Then I asked if he would put it in writing and take full liability, of me driving on it. And he saied he would have shipped out first.... Kinda funny....
