Hi everyone, I just joined the group and have some questions about the CVs. I am currently looking at buying one and was curious as to what is the preferred year say from 99-03? Definitely want an ex police model. Also can the performance be improved on them and is it possible to buy the push bars? Have looked at a couple of cars that were missing theirs. Sorry for all the questions, but am new to the CVs. Have had other ex Police units over the years but never one of these. Many thanks in advance for any info. Bob

Everyone has thier favorites, but my favorites are the 95-97 models. The CVPIs had OBD II starting in 95, so that is a plus. I bought a brand new Rhino pushbar for mine but you can get one cheap on ebay if you watch for them. A lot of th eones on ebay need mounting brackets, but that is not too tough to fabricate. I dont have any complaints bout the performance on mine, so I havent checked into any of that, but the 4.6 L engine has a lot of performance mods available.
