How would you want an exhaust cam to work?  Add duration and lift like the J-spec or different?  I'm interested in a custom job.  I would like to have a pretty good gain in the upper end, say 15hp.  Or is that not even possible with an exhaust cam?

if you add a exhaust cam with the intake cam, you should see another say 8 or 9 wheel horsepower gain, possibly 12 if other mods are already providing power gains.  all together anywhere from 13-25 horsepower just out of cams total provided other mods ( say c.a.i., exhaust work, etc.) as far as duration and lift...that depends on application and your desire.  you dont like the loud cam sound, so you wouldnt want a super high lift, so maybe a slightly longer duration with smaller lift...if you plan on going turbo, higher lift and shorter duration.  this should also make the exhaust note a bit healthier at higher rpms, and torque will jump drastically. hope i was of help. jeremy

Currently I have:

Brospeed Headers
Superchip
Catback exhaust w/ flowmaster
J-spec Cam
Intake (not on car at the moment)
Magnecor 8.5mm wires (whatever that's worth)

Im definitely going turbo and I don't really mind the exhaust note from the J-spec, I just don't want anything to radical.  Since the J-spec is a mild cam and you don't think it's a strong cam, I was thinking maybe add like 10 degree's of duration--how's that?  Or should it be more?  What would you go with?  I don't want anything that will totally drain my low end, but will still add a pretty good amount of high end.
