The focus ZX3 is a very nice, inexpensive design that has the potential for lots of after market modification. Out of the box, it is comfortable and a riot to drive.

The 3 things I like best about the Focus are:
1. Gas mileage
2. Looks
3. Amenities

The 3 things I like least about the Focus are:
1. Power of the engine with the AC on
2. Exhaust sound
3. Cheap paint

I would grade the ZX3 as an 8.

How do you describe your ZX3?
Qute, zippy little black car and/or the best compact sport/commute coupe on the road!

What are the 3 most things you like about your ZX3 and the 3 worse things you don't like?
3likes: Handling/quietness/size
3 dislikes: Needs more HP/Ashtray location/Left-side dash vent (freezes my fingers no matter how I adjust it, so I turn it almost off!)

If you were to grade your vehicle, what score would you assign to your ZX3 (Being 10 the best and 0 the worst)?
8.5
If Ford would make the adjustments mentioned above, the car will then be an easy 10! . . .in my book at least . . .

Description:
Roomy, fun-to-drive, aggressively priced compact car.

Likes:
1) Ride/Handling.
2) Passenger/luggage space.
3) Control (shifter/steering/brake) feel.

Dislikes:
1) A little short on power.
2) Suspension a little underdamped.
3) Seats don't slide forward automatically when
back is released (huge pain when you have to
load & unload a 2 yr old in her car seat a
zillion times.)

Grade:
Considering the price of the car, I give it a solid 9. It is hard to imagine finding a car that has a better combination of purchase/ownership cost, driving fun, and utility.

I would say my ZX3 makes my commute to and from work FUN! Ford definitely did their homework with this car! The styling is definitely unique from the other cars in the class (honda, toyota, nissan, chevy).

Likes:
1. Smooth ride, doesn't feel like you are in a compact car!
2. Handling, this little car loves the bends!
3. Room, plenty of room for all passengers and lots of other stuff.

Dislikes:
1. Where are the 130 horses hiding. My last car (Neon) had 132hp but it was way quicker than the ZX3.
2. My indoor hatch release broke withing the first week.
3. The front seats are a bit troublesome to manuever.

Hope this helps!

I describe my ZX3 as being a being a black beauty.

The things I like the most are:
1. The crispness of the shifter. The 5-speed is the only way to go.
2. The comfort of the seats. Once I figured out the height-adjustment dial, it's nice and comfy with the right amount of firmness in the padding.
3. The pen holder. A nice touch you wouldn't usually see on a economy car. I always use a pen so it's nice to know I always have one in my car.

What I don't like:
1. The paint. It's paper thin. I got egged and it ate right through the clearcoat and the paint down to the metal.
2. The front headlights. The designers watched way too much Pokeman when they came up with those things. As soon as I get $650, I'm going for a pair of Hella headlights.
3. The lack of power. When I have the AC blasting, I can feel the engine lugging down. Twenty more ponys under the hood would've solved that problem.

Overall, its a good ride for the cost. Very worthy of an 8.

If Ford put some more juice under the hood and lowered the suspension a bit, it would be perfect.

I describe my zx3 as a better car than a rice-burning civic.

the 3 things i like most about my zx3 are first the price, second the interior, and third that nobody believes i payed as little as i did.

the only thing i don't like is that most people think it is a VW Golf.

I give my ZX3 a 9.9 (nothing is perfect)

My Focus is a twilight blue 2000 ZX3 with all the options except for cruise control. The windows are tinted black, and I have four 12" subs in the trunk with a phat amplifier too. Also I made a custom upper-grille out of black screen material, it looks very cool. I'm hoping to drop it 2" next wednesday, and I want to get 18" alloys too (as soon as I qualify for a Sears card). I also have a vibrating cushion thing on the driver's seat, and I removed the "X" from the rear so I can tell girls I drive a Z3.

Two things about the supercharger... I looked into it, and the Jackson Racing supercharger is $2,999... and I have been told by some other people that Jackson Racing doesn't make the best supercharger...
