Hi all,

One question: Is someone find on his car that only the right rear drum brake was doing his job : braking ? and the left one you are asking me ?? well, I do not know ? I found out when I had to stop at a light on a hill (with a manual, I use the manual brake which is avoiding me to burn the clutch). the car went down only on the right side..to confirm it, I "played" on a parking lot...up to 50 and Go...manual brake..got a nice simple line from the right rear rubber...I love it..after the suspension..the brakes..what else next ?? the car is back to the dealer..yeehaa...one nice thing though if you have a Focus, guys, you get a free watch that is allowing you to keep tract of the number of days your car is sitting at the dealer...Smart guys at Ford, don't you think !!!

Mine work fine. I've been using them to induce drift through sharp corners and I've never had this happen. I did the same thing. 40 MPH, yank on the ol' e-brake... two light sripes of rubber on the pavement. It might be the e-brake balancer, which is meant to apply the same pressure to both sides. I haven't taken apart a focus, but in civics and escorts it's just back a little ways. I'm imagining it would be under the center panel, like right before or under the rear cup holder.
