when i was at the muffler shop (Midas muffler) they said that they could put dual exhaust on anything, basically if you got the money it can be done, i think they said that they did a car for like $400 or something

ok, maybe second time will be the charm, dave, please provide me with a dyno graph. i'm not harping on you. i need to get a new exhaust, and if this works, i'm all for it. also, some pics of the dual exhaust set-up would be cool. thanx, chris THANX, CHRIS SOPOC CO-PRES. 20 horses on a dual exhaust is unheard of. Sorry, not gonna happen. Maybe yours is special, but I doubt 20 horses. 8 horses if you're REAL lucky. Just what i know from experience. justin

I think that this shouldnt be taken as an attack on you. I say +20 hp and someone goes and gets it expecting that 20 hp. Then they get it and find out its only 4, they just wasted $400! Theyre not cutting you down, they want hard facts.

20hp gain from any kind of exhaust change (even a straight pipe ) is just WAY too optimistic. It's been common knowledge on these lists that even the best exhaust upgrades yield only between 2 to 7 hp gain. Anyone saying they're getting 20hp gain is gonna get lots of skepticism (and request for proof) from people who have been out here on the lists for a while. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC '93 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd

Allright this is your first warning dbigshow.  You're definitely entitled to your opinion but keep it clean (and no derogatory remarks).  That's not tolerated here.        -Lino Sacman, SCPOC

bigshow, dud chill. i wasn't saying anything bad to him. i was asking for the dyno graphs to compare to mine. i for one hope he got that much power. that means that i could probably get it too. i am asking for his help, not ragging on him. more power for those that stand up and stick to their stories rather than post nothing. thanx davet32, and if you do have a plot or anything that shows your peak horsepower, let me know. i want to add it to my site, as well as learn from it. anything to help our cars is great. chris THANX, CHRIS SOPOC CO-PRES. ok, not to sound like an asshole but, how do you know you gained 20 horsepower. did you do a baseline run and then a run with the new exhaust? what was your peak horsepower? was this done on a dyno or did you use some other kind of device. unfortunately, we do know a bit about our cars and we know that 20 horses is highly unlikely. once again, what was your horsepower number. not the gain you showed, but your final number. thank you. chris THANX, CHRIS SOPOC CO-PRES. I just want to know where you got the Duel exhaust Dave, I think that is how all this started just a simple question of where to get one, then everyone can decide how they like it from there. I know I'd like one. Jamie

hello i knwo a couple of ways you can duel exhaust and one way is to go from your headers back with DC headers and the other way i heard you can get duel exhaust is to take the mustangs from the cat-back. If i were you i would go from the headers back.

I think Torrienta had a dual exhaust on his base Probe. Not sure if he still has his website up but if I find the URL I'll post it later for you. I do remember that it involved cutting out the spare tire well from the trunk. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC '93 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd

Torrienta did cut the spear tire well from his car. All of the dual exhaust set ups that I have seen did the same thing.
