Hello I'm new to your group. I would like your thoughts on my project. I have a 1984 150 4x4 swb auto/302. I would like to install a 6.9 diesel eng.(ford). If both engs used the c6 trans.,i believe they do, will the 6.9 block @ flywheel, match the 302 torque converter and bellhousing?? I know the 6.9 is heavier. I've hear this swap has been done, but as yet no proof. I'd appreciate your help. Thank you Bruce
