Hi,
New to the group, but not to yahoo groups for my other vehicles -
hope this site is like the others.
I just bought a 95 F150 XL with the 300 I-6. After a few miles I
noticed the engine stumbles/hesitates at different engine RPM's.
There are times it runs fine, other times it stumbles - its very
annoying.
I have replaced:
1. Spark plugs (original one in cyl #3 was wrong plug type!)
2. Ignition wires
3. Cap and rotor (they needed replacing)
4. fuel filter
5. Pulled rear gas tank & checked filter on fuel pump - its fine
6. Checked coil - its fine
7. Ran 3 tanks of gas through with fuel cleaner additive
These checks and mods have not helped the stumbling. Do any fellow
gearheads have any ideas on what to look for?
Thanks
Jerry
