I have a 94 base model probe. I also have a set of 16in ford stock rims I want to put on. The problem is, A ford dealer in the area told me they didn't think I could put them on, and couldn't recommend a tire size. If anyone has done this or knows for sure what size will fit, please email me ASAP. >

One word of advise try it yourself, don't go by anything that ford says unless you see it for your own eyes. Like the bumper cover deal that Joe is going through. I just thought I could switch them but the part numbers are different, and the brackets aren't the same, I saw the photo. But as far as your rims, try to see if they will find and envision the tire you want to put on them. Jose G

On my GT with stock 16inch rims the recomended tire size is 225/50/r16. Hope this helps Jeremy >
