About a week ago I had my converter removed and found out is was almost totally stopped up. Now I have a buzzing noise when I accelerate, which is the resonator. I ordered a Dynomax Super Turbo for it. What will it sound like and how will the engine respond w/taking the old resonator off and installing the Turbo ?? Do you think I will need to buy a new resonator ?? Please reply... Thanks, Michael Simmons

I've got a manual 95 PSE with a 3" cat back w/o a resonator to a Tsudo muffler. It sounds great, but under full throttle I hit 110 decibels..... JSpeed

depending on what kind of sound you want, i would recommend a greddy, hks, or flowmaster muffler... the more chambers the muffler has, the quieter, and the less performance you will get from the muffler... I have a greddy catback on my 93GT which comes with a greddy muffler... and it sounds great in my opinion.. not too loud, but still sounds like you have some nuts...

Arospeed has good exhausts... I have an arospeed on my 94PSE and I get a nice sound, not too loud and it gives it a nice BHP amount with the custom intake i got in. I also heard that you shouldnt alter the catback, for some reasons our probes come with preffered piping for the exhaust system. I think its somethig about weighing down the car or less air flow, im not too sure about it tho. Alex 94PSE

THE BUZZING NOISE MIGHT BE A LEAK, OR NOT. BUT IT JUST MIGHT BE A COMBO FROM THE CAT BEING BAD. HARD TO TELL. THE EXHAUST WILL PROBABLY SOUND LIKE A HONDA WITHOUT THE FART IN A CAN SOUND:)IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SIZE OF THE TIP YOU PUT ON IT. THE BIGGER THE TIP, THE LOUDER IT GETS...(like a megaphone) >
