I've been told there is no different for towing 9200 lbs with the Expedition, you can have a 3.31 or 3.73 axle, ether one will tow that amount as long as you have a Heavy Duty tow pkg. Also a Tow-Haul switch in the vehicle which is a torqshift transmission. I hope someone can tell me if its better to have the 3.73 for towing 7500 lbs trailer up and down mountains. Does it really matter which one buy.
