I was just wanted to get a few opinions on what my first mod should be. I wasn't looking for the super-charger idea just yet. If you have an opinion, let me know.

Thanks Ben.

Oh and this will be on a 2001 GT Convertible

Cat back system and shorty headers. They free up exhaust flow. And will actually improve gas mileage. And they will allow you to run or stock emmissions equipment so it won't affect your warranty. Then you should do a larger throttle body that will pick up a few more ponies and a lot more Rpm's on the top end and better acceleration. With out affecting gas mileage.

A fenderwall cold air system and a larger mass air flow sensor. Probly should be done at the same time as the throttle body. If not the cold air atleast the M.A.S. They won't affect gas mileage either.

If you have an auto matic transmission. Anything to make it shift faster. I.E. valve bodies, shift kits, billet servos, ect. They will all improve accelleration. Improve your trannies life by puting less wear on bands and clutchs. And will improve your gas mileage by getting you in to higher gears quicker.

Why don't you put your system into the new GT? I put in my head unit, sub amp, and a lil' temporary Infinity 10" sub. It sounds wonderful. 400 RMS to the 10" with like 27 RMSx4 to the four tweeters. heh heh hehhh...

Well I though about that, but with the new mach 460 system that ford put in, I would have to change the whole system. And I like the stock one for now. I have the 6 disk changer in the dash and all it really needs is some bass, so I might put in my sub

i would say exhaust first, as you can force as much air/fuel in as you want, but it doesn't do any good if you can't let it out.
