Has anyone out there tried installing LED replacement bulbs in place of the OEM taillights (#3157)? Did you need a new flasher unit? I've had a hell of a time trying to find an electronic, heavy duty, three-prong combination turn signal/hazard flasher (without the bulb out indicator) for my '98 SE. Problem is: with the stock/OEM flasher, it can't handle the lower electrical resistance of the LEDs, so it thinks a bulb is out and blinks very fast. I've checked Autozone, CAP, Pep Boys, Tyco Electronics, Trico (Tridon) and half a dozen other places on the Web. Crutchfield was no help, and the manufacturer of the LEDs has been unresponsive. Any feedback would be appreciated.
