hi guys i have a escort estate 1998 1.6 cl 16 valve
i got new front shocks and springs fitted
but everytime i go over like speed bumps or bad holes in the road
theres a creeking sound is there anything else i can check
to find out what the problem is

I have fixed several mysterious front end noises on Fords by greasing all the non-greasable tie rod ends and ball-joints. This requires piercing the dust boots with a grease needle (a syringe needle with a zerk) and giving a few squirts of grease. Twisting the tie rods will tell you if you have a noisy tie rod end. Noisy ball joints are harder to determine. Needless to say, replace any worn-out parts.

the things on the end of the steering rack ???
and theres a ball joint type thing on them sorry
i don't know a hell of a lot about cars banana.gif
i do know where the bolts joints are though
bottom of the control arms
