So I was wondering what you guys thought about the 2008 Ford Ka? I just seen the pictures of it for the first time and I really like the looks of it. I don't know the particulars of it though.

Looks like a jelly mould to me! But then I like my cars big & muscle bound so this one was never going to do it for me (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

As GreenMoo said, i'm partial to a big vehical that looks like it's going to hurt someone or something. The KA just doesn't do it for me, i'd see it as more of an urban vehical personally.

You're right Kyle. It must be dead easy to park though, which could be a very useful feature as parking lots become more crowded.

I quite like the look of it because it is a bit quirky, sensible but with personality if you see what I mean. I guess I can see why people think it looks like a jelly mould, I don't mind the shape but I think the name is silly.

When I read jelly mould I just had to get a look at this car. It's cute, but too small for me. Where do the kids go? (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Never even seen the jelly mold resemblance until you brought it up. I am not looking for a real big car but I can see why you wouldn't want it if you are looking for a bigger model.

At one point we loved driving smaller cars, unfortunately, life is calling for a mini-van.

To me it looks like a cross between an automobile from the Flintstones and the Jetsons. I know now why I love my truck.... lol (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/banana.gif) (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif) (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif) (IMG:http://www.fordforum.org/style_emoticons/default/trophy.gif)

It certainly has character and plenty of people seem to like it. I'm not sure I would choose that particular model but at a time when we are worried about fuel economy and about global issues, there is certainly a place for a car like this.

I agree, Justontime. There seems to be trend towards larger and larger vehicles which really aren't necessary. Unless you have a giant family, a small car like the Ka should be adequate for day to day journeys really.
