Hi all, new member and new post. 1998 expy with about 119,000 miles. The heat/cold temperature knob on the front console works great when it is all the way to the left (cold) or all the way to the right (hot). However, the middle adjustment is pretty much gone. You can feel a "pull" when you turn the knob from left to right. I had one person tell me that the problem might be the knob itself, but I looked at the back of the knob and it looks fine. It must be the heat/cold control itself. Can anyone give me their experience with replacing this? How do you get to that portion of the control? What part of the dash needs removed/etc. I thought maybe I could just take the radio out and get to those controls, but I wasn't sure. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it!
