Well thats what i thought too but the screws are actually round screws, alan wrenchs or regular screw drivers won't work either. thanks though. Ben 94 PSE

i have a 93, when i bought the car the plate holder was not on and i had to actually drill holes in the bumper so i could put it on, there were screws with the holder so i imagine you just unscrew it, i could be wrong though scott 93 se

Mine was riveted on, so you might have to pull the front bumper off and drill out the rivets. -Eric '96 SE >

To remove the front license plate bracket you got to drill out the rivets that hold it to the front bumper/fascia. BTW if you're getting rid of your front license plate bracket I know someone who is looking for one. Here's a copy of his email and address so you two can hook up. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC '93 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd

they arent screws they are infact rivets and need to be drilled out after that you will have big ugly holes so put some neat vanity plate on there and go with it. kevin
