What a shitty job that was!!! The Ford Engineers were really complacent to have this front parking lamp assembly buried way deep in the front end. By the book, you have to take off the entire front bumper to change a friggin light bulb!!! We did it by banana peeling back the inner wheel well cover and reaching in for 45 minutes (arms scraping) to try to get the little bastard of a bulb screwed into place. Sorry for the profanity, but it is justified for this job@!!! Anyone have any tricks?

yeah it took me at least 30 minutes to change the turn signal on the driver's side. but on the passenger side i couldn't even get my hand to the bulb. i just gave up!! it looks impossible unless you have the skinniest arms and hand!! has anyone here changed their turn signal on the passenger side?? how the hell do you do it?

to change the turn signals you must take off your front bumper cover. it's not too hard there's about 10 to 12 bolts and nuts holding it on. hardest thing about this procedure is lining it back up to the body lines when you put it back on.

when ford designed  the bulb repacement part they wernt being stupid (on
their part) because by doing that 75% of probe owners will have to take there
car into the dealership and pay them to do it. allong with the oil change for
that mater.

Next time do what I do and wrap a cloth rag over the oil filter just before you unscrew it off it's last threads. That way you don't get any oil spilling onto your face. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC Hybrid '93/'95 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd
