Hey probers, I have a question for any of you who have replaced your stock front speakers. I purchased some Pioneers to replace my aging stock ones, and i noticed a problem when i went to install them. The stock speakrs are installed with 3 screws into the doors, but my pioneers have four. Any tips from anyone? If not, I may have to make some new holes. :) Tim '93 PSE (with rear wiper.....and no spoiler) hehe.

use all 4 holes even if you have to drill. if you don't, you can get an annoying rattling because the speaker is not completely held to the door. chris >

hey man, i just had to rewire my whole entire speaker system. i know ur problem with the front speakers. Ur actually gonna have to drill four holes to fit it. the other problem is, that your gonna have a little gap, but use that gap to put the wires through. if u use the factory wires, it wont sound as good. it takes a while but it will be well worth it. i know from experience. good luck man, have fun

well, i didnt use that black route, i just went ahead and routed them straight from my deck to the door, i ran it up the wall and they are hidden, the only place u can actually see them, is the little bit where the door opens (hinge) thats it.

Just drill new wholes witht he template, and I drilled a hole in the door jam then ran the speaker wire through the rubber sleeve poked it through and in the hole I drilled. Then I ran it under the rug and into the console. Thats how I did it any how. Jose G
