This pic came form the performance list. Torrienta sent it there and I thought this list might like to see it also. A couple Q's 1) is this the turbo or N/A 2) if it is the N/A, will it drop in? looks like there might be different mounts, almost as if it sits closer to the front of the engine bay. also the intake man. looks different and what is that plastic cover with the mazda symbol on it. will there be clearance probs with the probe hood? will all accessories bolt up ie. power steering, ac? will it plug into the factory harness? I know some of these Q's might not have answers yet but its worth a shot. Kevin

It definetely looks different from out engine, seems to sit further forward, could it have something to do with it possibly being a different car and right hand drive? Cant tell if its has a turbo, but the intake looks to be going to the fender, and I see what looks like a MAF sensor on the edge of the pic. That plastic cover looks like its covering the spark plug wires and the distributor, possibly a DIS unit and coil pack, since I dont see a distributor on the front of the engine like we have. Could this be a 98 engine? Id like to see more pictures of the engine, ill see if any are out there.

I am such a procrastinator (sp?)!!! I have more pics of the engine, I will try to convert them to jpg's this weekend and post them. I also have pics of the Mazda Capella, which it comes out of. ~ Torrienta 2.0L Performance www.geocities.com/Motorcity/1377
