Okay, i'm not gonna be a jerk but how in todays world of jerry springer, howard stern, rap music, and all the other things on t.v, video games, etc, could u consider GODAMNIT to be a bad word when u can say ass on tv?, also why would children who dont give a damn about cars be into this message board? If there old enough to read there old enough to say GD. but if it is a word that u dont want me to say then i wont.

I dig, in fact I curse like a sailor all day long.. But I do it in the proper place. In my little circle of colleagues at work, or on #cdc. It is easy to become jaded by pop culture and friends. This is the internet, though, and this little postage stamp of land is for people that like ford probes, not swear. Just as the superultraconservative religous freaks and power hungry governments (and the MPAA) have to deal with material that they dont like being on the net, we have to deal with simple rules... The loudest voices, and the ones who contribute the most to this list, ask politley that we refrain from cursing... then I say we refrain from cursing This is the old way, ala USENET in the 80's If you dont like it, go make another mailing list -johnny
