I have a few questions that maybe someone can answer. I have a 97 probe. I have a weapons r intake on it now along with some new wires and plugs. The car seems a little stronger. Here are my questions. Has anyone installed an Ice man intake? How about exhausts? I was going to get a Thermal Reseach exhaust and have it custume made, but have not yet. I only know of a few companies that make exhausts for the 2.0l probe, Pacesetter and Brospeed. Are there any more. Has anyone turbo charged their probe? I know a guy who would do a custum job for $5000. I was just wondering how much it effected the drivability of the car. One last question, has anyone heard of doing a headlight conversion on a probe. I want to do one but don't know where to begin. Jeff

Ice-man intakes are really expensive and someone brought up a good point to me. The akimoto and wepon-r intakes are metal and heat up really quickly right. Thing most ppl forget is it cools just as fast. As soon as you step on pedal and open it up it sucks mad air throught that intake pipe cooling it to air temp in a matter of seconds. Now with a little header tape and mabey a spacer you won't have any head problems. No the ice-man on the other hand is made out of that plastic stuff so it doesn't heat up SO quickly but will still heat up. Now the downfall with this is that it takes just as long to cool as it did to heat up(a while). I'm sure you have a brain and can figure out what this all means. I would reccomend the Akimoto intake(it's cool air) but is still above the splash gards. The iceman hangs down way lower than the splash gaurds(bad if you ask me). Hope this helps a bit but I would defintly reccomend spacers for $60.(supposedly lowers intake temps 50 degress?). Jer '96 PSE
