I own a 1995 Ford Ranger Supercab with over 100000 miles on it.My question is when i put the key into the ignition It start to make a Dinging sound anddoes not stop until i pull the key out. how do i get it to turn off? Help its driving me Nuts. highiron17

I just bought a '94 Ranger and a few things on the dash (mostly the dingers, door and keys) didn't work. The truck run fine just no alarms.<br>I found a gray plug right under the drivers side toward the middle. Kinda big. It was unplugged, after plugging it in the chimes worked. You might try unpluging that and doing without the warning chimes entirely.<br>BUT, I'm not sure what else you will lose, so of course see what you ain't got. <br>Hope it helps, shreward
