I finally decided I was tired of the crappy plastic lug nut cover on my 96SE, so I took it off, and replaced the old lug nuts with 'acorn' style shiny new ones... Brought it in to the tire place I go to, and they switched em for free! Anyway, it looks pretty nice, except in the front where through the hole in the centre of the rim you can see the rusty axle... ugh. I know other probe models have caps that will fit in there, so I checked at my dealer, and found that they were $69 CDN each! So I'm thinking of making my own out of aluminum... Anyone have a better idea? :) -Robin Hillman 96 SE (with fancy new wheels)

What caps are you looking at? I have GT wheels and my paint on my cemter caps came off, so I went to Ford and there was two caps for the wheels. One was the standard silver and the other had the ford emblem painted blue. The paint one cost $70 and the silver one cost $25. I had to order one of each to see which one was the right one but only had to play for the one I wanted. There Ford book does not list a difference in the caps. Matt Knudsen 93 Base....

As of September of last year plates are not required on the front in Texas...but they still provide one. MULTI 94PSE TXPOC
