Anybody know where the governor/knock out sensor is? My car gets to 95 and quits

I've heard you can cut the lines to your VSS and this removes the top end limiter, but it also disables your cruise control. What Year/Engine/Model do you have? My 2000 SE Sport 5 Spd. is limited to 110. And I thought the 95-97's were limited to 112-114.

My '96 cuts out at 113. I would realy like to know where the VSS line to cut is. I would put in an On/Off switch.<br><br>GERII

I have a 95' GL, good ol' 4-banger, it gets to about 95 and doesnt go much faster, of course I've run out of road doing this.
