pry it, it does come out but it takes effort, you can also just keep yanking on it. the shaft has a clip type ring on the end that holds it in the tranny so u have to get that ring to compress, just pry it, trust me

!WAIT! Do not yank on the shaft you are liable to yank the CV joint out of the boot and groove in which it rides. YOu have to pry the shaft out with a pry bar. You need two, and have to pry it out side to side till it pops out, you will never get the shaft out by yanking on it. Jose G

It doesn't matter if you have or not but if you remember since you have removed your 3 sets that the differental gears in the transmission can fall and if they do your fucked, but like I said its just a thought Jose G

Yeah, but here is another thought. The tranny housing is a very thin aluminum. One slip of the pry bar and u need a new tranny

Listen A pry bar with the power of an average man behind it is not going to puncture a transmission belhousing or housing period. I'm telling you what I know what I have learned from proffesionals with over 40+ years of experince in the field and over160 years all together, and a Associate Degree, and graduate Cum laude thrid in my class. So you think what you want to think and me well I we'll just leave it at this email. Jose G
