if you were to look up the shorty or long style headers made by kooks, they have a little bit of a size difference. other than that anybody know what the real hp/performance gains are of one vs. the other? at the kooks website (can get there through www.supercoupeperformance.com) they show the following types: shortie design: 1 5/8" x 2 1/4" x 18" w/down tubes 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 18" w/down tubes 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 18" w/down tubes 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 18" w/down tubes long design: 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 28" w/down tubes 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 28" w/down tubes 1 3/4" x 3" x 28" w/down tubes 1 7/8" x 3 1/2" x 28" w/down tubes like i said before i was just wondering if anybody here knew the real difference between the long and shortie designs. thanks bro, Dave

Shorties are generally cheaper and yield less of a power gain, but are usually emissions legal in most states. Long tubes are more expensive and yield more of a power gain, but are usually only legal for off-road use. Hope this helps, Kenny
