I would look into a header for a Focus. There are a lot of companies out there making parts for them.

GERII/Cone_tour

The exhaust manifolds are almost the same for the mustang and the t- birds. The JBA headers will definitely fit, just make sure that they will clear everything including the steering system before you go tearing everything apart. I would honestly recommend going with a pair of Hedman Hedders if you're looking for better flow. The JBA's are nice looking and will give you a good flow, but I've found that Hedman has the best power gain for T-Birds. I put a pair on my 1984 5.0 and they work great! And the best part, only $100 for the pair!! You definitely can't beat that for excellent performance and a lifetime warranty! Let me know what happens, good luck! Tim

JBA Mustang headers won't fit the Thunderbird, they won't clear the steering column. Kenny

I know that Brospeed and NeuSpeed both make good headers for the 2.0L. Pacesetter also makes a header but from what I've heard, (and Im not dissing anyone with a pacesetter, so dont that this that way) that they are painted black and this tends to flake off eventually and make them look bad. But again, thats just what Ive heard. I plan on getting the NeuSpeed header as soon as I can afford it. wilson 97 base

Go with brospeed. They are awsome headers, much more free flowing, and they use a new kind of flex pipe that seems to work quite well. I love mine, and there is a pretty good increace from stock. I paid $386 from www.forparts.com, that's for parts NOT fordparts. Joe

it specificly said it was for the 93+ 4cly Probe? Brospeed is the only company out there that makes a header for our car; unless this is true, then it would be true :) but i wouldn't think edelbrock would.

Yes it did say it was for the 2.0, if its for the 93+ models I'm not sure.

Please check for yourself at :

www.carparts.com i checked under preformance parts for a 95 Probe and thats what it gave me. its called (sprint car headers) maybe its a universal fit. and also it said that its only for the left side application only. check it out and let me know (cause i dont)

the 2.0 was only in 93+ models and EDELBROCK doesnt make a header for these cars, they only make them for hondas as fas as import scene, maybe foci, etc.
Jeremy
p.s...if u buy it beware, its not real edelbrock product

Those are for a V6 anyway. A lot of the products that come up wont work with our cars, i dont know why they come up, does not make anysense. If you want headers, you have to get Bosal, they're of the highest quality anyway, very respectable company.

well I'll be your right. I just shecked my edlebrock catelog and danged if they don't have them for everything but your aplication. you would think they would be the same '95-96 but they have them up to 95, so... personally I think the must be drifferent if they have one but tnot the other. see if an exhaust shop can make you some. it'll probly be more expensive but if thats the only way then thats the only way. heck if your in there might as well have them do a whole exhaust system for you. unless you already have one.

96 was a screwed up year Ford introduced the redesigned trucks with the modular engine in 96 while still producing the older model I have a 96 truck with a 302 have to order parts for a 95 or it confuses the parts counter people to make sure check your factory manifolds should be just like the 95
