OK, I'm probably missing this information in the owner's manual, but in every other car I've driven, there is a warning chime when you turn off the engine and leave the headlights or parking lights on. My ZX3 doesn't do this and I've run the battery down a few times because I've left the headlights on while I've gone to work. Is this a Focus-wide quirk or just my car?<br>Other than that, I love my Focus!<br>When the Ford dealer and see 10-12 ZX3s in their lot, does that mean thay have Focii? :)<br>-Karen

I probably would have been stranded several times also if not for the chiming. I would ask your dealer to see if they can fix that. And yep Karen, they have focii!

something must be wrong because mine will shut off after an hour if i leave the car off with the keys in it. but the chime also works on it to.

Well... on my ZX3, the headlights always go off when I turn off the engine,(like VW) leaving parking lights only. I've never accidently left them on, but the thing about them turning off after an hour might be a battery saver device.(like the radio.) And my chime does work. Looks like we all have different stories to tell.... (Gotta love our Focii!)
