'88 Ranger XLT 4X4 2.9L - 381,000 on engine

Have been 'maintaining' my Ranger since I traded it for my 98 Contour DOHC ... good trade ;)

Up here in the Great White we have too 'E-Test' [Emission] ALL vehicles 1988-present before you get your plates.

Replaced CAT converter, starter, alternator and now the Heater Core has decided it needs to be done.

I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced one and how hard is it to do ... alot are telling me I need to remove the dash

and maybe the steering wheel w00t.gif ... really ... it's the much work??

If you could help with some guidance or better yet a pictorial with estimated time of completion would be awesome beer.gif
