Hello all. Thanks for all the helpful info from all my past questions. I have one more for the club. I'm want to install a 250w jensen amp and my 2 12" subs. Any one know of any online resources for the stereo found in the stock zx3? Also any advice on this subject would be greatly apriciated. BTW I'll post install pics if and when I get it all installed.
Thanks,
Steve

hello steve....
well when i went to put my 3 amp system in my focus...i couldnt even find a grommet to pass my power wire through...So what i did is remove the fuse panel and the battery under the hood and had to drill my own hole and put a grommet of my own in.....as fas as the factory deck if you are trying to put in an amp and still use the factory deck then i would recommend using a line level converter from peripherals ( stinger ) called a p35....but make sure you put it behind the radio and not in the back of the car....that way if you ever get an after market cd player the rca jacks will already be behind the radio so you dont have to re run the rca cable.... as fas as a color code for the radio your best bet is to goto your local car stereo shop and ask for the adapter wire harness for the focus it will tell you which wires are which and also if you do get that after market cd you will already have the harness to put it in so you dont have to cut off teh factory plug....( and that way you can put the vehicle back factory )... my recommedation as being a professional car stereo installer is to go with the aftermarket cd...cause it will be more power and better sound quality plus the after market piece has better upgrade ability than your stock....hope that helps you with what you are gonna do....e-mail me if you need more help....
Dean
dumothian@...
