Where would I find the schematic of the line electrical hook-ups from the alternator to the regulator. I have a problem and keep blowing headlights and the lights will get warm and flicker in and out I have tried replacing headlights replaceing wiring and harness and replacing switch nothing has solved the problem but it is acting like there is a short in the system. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure you are using the correct seal beams for the year model, I had a similar problem with a friends car that he had installed them new higher output replaceable bulb seal beams light kit. Rewiring the lights so they feed strait from the battery solved the problem. I used relays triggered by the old head light wiring system.   Also check that your alternator output is apar with the draw of the lights, check this with a multimeter set on DC volts while reading battery power with the engine running there should still be at least 12v + after all of the asesories are turned ON at the battery. This insures that there is going to be enough voltage left to charge the battery while running all the accessories, like when having adverse weather at night.     Jaime
