if you are looking for handling loose the factory truck tires with 70 series side walls you have no cornering ability drop down to a 235 50 hr or vr 15 tire if moneys a factor buy s rated in a 60 series. The next step is to buy a set of eibach progressive rate springs there expensive but worth it. Wheels are for looks spend the money on performance and the krylon touch to match you paint always is a cheap alternitive if you rims are un savable. Nex get a cat back system or some new flow masters or borla mufflers nothing says I've got something under my hood like a nice rumble from the mufflers.<br><br>LAter

Hey Thunder!<br>Thanks! Finally some REAL adivce, naming names and explaining why. I had 76m good highway miles on my orginal Firestones and replaced them last fall with same size Michelins, so I'm committed, I suppose, to this size tires. But, tell me more about Eibach progressive rate springs. Also, since the exhaust on my '96 (4.6) is also pretty solid, is there somewhere else I can enhance power? I was surprised to feel the difference a K&R air filter made. Any other easy tweaking of the 4.6? I still have the original plugs. Thanks for your post. This is the sort of stuff I was hoping to learn.<br>Tom
