I need to PLEASE here from people that have had this problem and have had it resolved. Its been a year with this and I am ready to get rid of this thing. At one point I used to love driving it but now I hate it. Please help. Bub

Hi Bub, I had this (or a very similar problem) and had it fixed by replacing the throttle body. Type the term "throttle body" into the Search field for this forum and you will find the appropriae threads. Cheers, jhg

Thanx jhg, I have had this thing back to them 4 or 5 time. My problems are: slight hesitation sometime when cold. sometimes sort of like whiplash acceleration. It seems like the rpm comes up and then the transmission grabs. I like the truck but can't stand the drive ability of it. So I'm ready to dump it. 2002 4x4 sport Thanx 4 your input
