Does anyone else have a 99 contour that howls when you put it in drive in cold weather till it really warms up? Anyone heard of this? Email me at esemposki@... . Thanks

i had a problem with mine it was making a howling or hooting sound it turned out to be the idle air control valve.

Two questions:<br><br>1) is the from a 2.5L V6<br><br>2) This might be the "Moose" noise from the IAC, If so than the TH fix (found at www.contour.org) should fix it. If not, get the tranny checked.<br><br>GERII / Cone_tour
