A weird thing happened yesterday. I was driving down the road, like normal,
and, all of a sudden, the engine started straining and lost most of its
power. I jockeyed the gas pedal to no avail. I played with the shifter;
nothing. It was making that sound you get when you first start it up on a
cold day and give it too much gas right off the bat. I pulled over for a
second or two and gave it another try. It ran fine until I made the return
trip home when it did the same thing. I thought about the fuel filter but if
it were clogged would this not be a constant problem rather than an
INTERMITTENT one? I am running 302, Edelbrock, electric pump, and Holley
fuel regulator. My plugs look fine and my wires SEEM to be intact.
Anyone want to take a shot at this?
