Anyone ever cleaned this? If so, how do you do the job? A mechanic suggested that might be carboned up and causing my idle to be a little rough, and intermittently stall.

http://www.geocities.com/adamk01452/MAF2.html I beleive this article would benefit you and anyone in the group who has not already done it. I did it when my car started bogging down whenever I laid on the throttle. Fixed it very inexpensively. It takes 15 minutes if you know what you're doing and the benefits are VERY noticeable if it's never been done. Anyone with around 100K miles should do this. MULTI 97GL
