I have 1964 1/2 mustang with 289 engine that has a factory Holley 4 brl. carb. Anybody have any information how many came out in production with this?

I believe that only the Shelby's 289 Hi-Po (306bhp)had the much sought after Holley 715cfm 4bbl carb.<br><br>Ford did not offer Holley carbs as a 'factory' option. You could however buy one through their parts dept. as many people did aling with the Cobra lettered alum. intake.<br><br>The 'D' code (and later '65 'A'and 'k' codes) used the autolite 4100 4bbl carb.<br><br>So I guess the answer to your question as to how many came out in production it would be zero.<br><br>Hope this helps<br><br>-Paul
