i ended up taking off the box. I temporarily covered it with duct tape. it makes it a little more louder if your standing by the engine with the hood poped but not noticeable in the car. does anyone know a company that makes a cold air intake for my probe?

I recently put the Platinum 4's and 8mm Accel wires in. Combined with the K&N, what a difference! :-) > >

you can either buy one off the internet or i can sell you mine, i have one i custom made when i had my welding job, its 1/4 inch thick aluminum, bolts to the mass air meter exactly and comes straight out about 5-6 inches then drops at a 45 degree angle or so and comes right to the plastic guards, you can remove them for more air if you wish, i had, but it works great, sounds better and makes alot more room in the engine compartment...im not sure if it will work on an automatic probe or not, i had a 5 speed...but anyhow, mine was tig welded by my dad who has been TiGing for 30 years this past jan, so the welds are beautiful.  if youre interested, its 50 bucks.  let me know.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but putting in spark plugs (no matter what kind they are), K&N Filter, and ignition wires won't give you but MAYBE 3 horsepower in our car.  But if you believe it does it's all good.
