i actually dont have a contour but i have a 97 mystique. I am trying to put an intake on my car and when i ordered one it only comes with a cone filter and not the whole chrome tube thing. i am just unaware how i would install this myself and where actually to put the filter. if someone has hooked up a contour of similiar years, i would like a picture if possible. thanks

A lot depends on what you ordered, and from who. a Conical filter will replace you old filter and airbox. It may come with a bracket that bolts/screws to the inner fender under the MAF to keep it from flopping around.<br><br>GERII/Cone_tour
