Hello all! I'm new to the group, so I thought I should check in and tell you what I'm looking for. I have a blue '92 Escort GT with only 46K miles. I've had the thing about a year I suppose. I bought it wrecked. A friend of mine that owns a body shop came across it and cut me a deal on fixing it back up. It runs and drives like a brand new car and looks pretty good. There are still a few nit-picky things that need to be done, one of which is the stock air box. Now the box is solid, but two of the three mounting "ears" that secure the air box in the car are broken (it was hit mainly on the front left corner). Instead of replacing it with another stock box, I was toying with the idea of getting an aftermarket intake system. The only one I've looked at or priced is from Weapon R. I was hoping members here might recommend others or share their thoughts on this one. Thanks!

I reccoment the intake from CTA motorsports. I had a custom one that I built for about a year before switching to the CTA. I found it to be a much better build unit then what I put togeather plus its not that expensive. Don't go with the K & N unit it's too expensive.
