Has anyone tried dying the seats or carpeting in your t-bird? Just wondering if anyone knows how it would turn out. Or how about painting dash pieces, would it chip away or rub off. Any input would be apprieciated.

I didn't dye the carpet, but I did pull it out and steam clean it. It is a pain to get out from behind the front console, had to cut it behind the console (just underneath the floor vents) to get it to come out.
